My Honda Dealership is

Great Lakes Honda is a different kind of dealership. We understand the importance of supporting & participating in local community events.

Great Lakes Honda is proud to support many local organizations, groups & events in the Algoma Region. We live by our “community driven” motto every day and it’s why we felt it important to build our Community Driven boardroom in the heart of our dealership. This boardroom is free of charge and available for reservation to all local groups and organizations in need!

We believe in supporting our local groups, families and organizations. Experience a different kind of dealership with Great Lakes Honda.

Community Driven Awards

The first Community Driven Awards were held in partnership with Passport to Unity in May of 2014. Francine Floreani recognized that there are so many great people and groups in our local community who are doing amazing things to make our community a great place to live and that those people deserved to be recognized for their selfless work.

Francine has this to say about the awards,

“We are proud to acknowledge those who are active participants in our community that continually promote community involvement and invite others to participate in celebrating a sense of identity and belonging to the community. We can’t wait to hear all of the great stories about those in our community who continually support growth and those who take time out of their day to give back in a positive and enriching way!”

Many people and groups do so much to make our Community great! That being said, Great Lakes Honda wants to give them the recognition they deserve by honouring four people or groups who are “Community Driven.” This is your chance to look at your friends, students, peers, family, co-workers, boss, or someone you know within the community and tell us about the selfless work they are doing to make Sault Ste. Marie a fantastic city. You know these people, they organize, they volunteer, they help others, and build connections.

The categories for nomination are:

  • Elementary/High School Student
  • Post–secondary School Student
  • Community Driver (Individual)
  • Community Group/Organization (General Public)
